We offer food, showers, laundry facilities,TV, and a warm, safe place to stay, no matter what the circumstances.

The American Legion has opened their doors as a community based shelter for level 3 evacuees and an escape from hazardous air quality. We are located at 103 E 6th Avenue, Colville WA and are opened around the clock. We offer showers, laundry, food, beds, and TV. There is no area indoors for pets but we do have insulated kennels outside. For more information you can call 509-690-0094 or 509-684-8480. Thank you and be Safe. 🙋

The Cooling Shelter will open its doors on Thursday, August 19, from 9 AM to 9 PM, and thereafter whenever temperatures exceed 90 degrees. Additionally, we will open when the AQI (air quality index) ranges from 251 to 300, denoting hazardous conditions. Located upstairs at the American Legion, 103 E 6th, Colville, we invite you to join us to escape the heat. 🙋
