In Washington State ballots are landing in mail boxes and it's mere weeks to election day, Nov. 5th. This election is like no other we've seen. While so many of us are concerned about many of the same issues (wages, healthcare, childcare, secure communities, cost of living, housing, etc.), one party has chosen to create distractions to divide us. They have chosen to double down on hateful rhetoric and outright lies. The choice between the two parties is stark, and obvious.
A few voices from Washington State's 7th Legislative district in North East Washington- spoke up to share values that many of us have in common, and what motivates them to vote for Democrats, and to just plain VOTE. They speak from their experiences and observations, supporting the rights to make choices on health care, lifting our neighbors up when they need a helping hand, maintaining funding to social security and medicare so it will be viable for future generations, and most importantly, putting in place leaders who work for us and future Americans, not for themselves or their corporate sponsors and buddies, or our foreign adversaries. And, to return the Supreme Court to a place of integrity rather than grift.
We are willing to support real plans for real problems and find real solutions. We are VOTING BLUE.
