Well folks things didn't go the way I had hoped but that's ok. I came forward to give people a choice and the majority voted to keep things the way they are. This is an article pertaining to a capital murder case that myself and good friend Danny Crawford worked. The case resulted in four individuals being charged with capital murder and an innocent man being released from prison that had been convicted of the murder. Just a sample of work I've done.

Almost every day I have someone telling me about issues with drug activity in our county. I went and requested the grand jury list for the past three years regarding the sheriffs office. In the past three years not one single felony drug case was presented to the grand jury by the sheriffs office. I hope this is as disturbing to you as it is to me. I take pride in the fact that I have a complete understanding of the 4th Amendment, which pertains to search and seizure. I have the background, knowledge, and experience to fight our drug and crime problems in Comanche County. Vote for Bruce A. Spruill for Comanche County Sheriff.

Professional Career
Began at the Comanche county sheriff's office for 1.5 years
Worked for Comanche Police department for 2 years.
Spent 21.5 years with Brownwood Police Department
While at Brownwood I worked 15 years as a detective.
11 years specializing in narcotic related crimes.
4 years working major crimes as a detective
During my time at Brownwood I was a 2 time Police officer of the year. Once as a patrol officer and once as a detective.
I was also recognized by the DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) for my efforts in fighting narcotics trafficking
I was also named the Narcotics Detective of the year for the entire west region of Texas through the Texas Narcotics Officers Association.

Served as a director for the Comanche Youth Council
Served as both vice president and president of the Comanche FFA Booster Club
Served as president of the Comanche County Livestock Association
