Big John, was a great friend and a servant for the citizens of Comer.
Please join us in your thoughts and prayers for his family during this difficult time.

Today Comer mourns the loss of a public servant extraordinaire. John Howard was known for his easy smile and eagerness to help. He is survived by his loving family, who remain in our hearts. The city is grateful for his years of dedication, and his friendship.

If you would like to pay your respects, the family will host visitation on Sunday, January 19 from 6 - 8 at Lord & Stephens, with the funeral on Monday, January 20 at 1:00 pm.

For your safety, please refrain from using the roads unless it's an emergency. Conditions are deteriorating rapidly, and the roads are becoming extremely slick.
