Today we hosted visitors from Southlawn Elementary. The entire 5th grade came to learn more about Stuart in preparation for their transition to middle school next year. The 8th grade AVID classes coordinated and facilitated the visit. We kicked off the visit with a purple carpet welcome, a performance by the 8th grade band, and an assembly. Students then broke into small groups for building tours and informational sessions to learn more about life at Stuart. We had a great time hosting our future Raptors and can’t wait for them to join us in the fall.

We are so proud of our GT students for their presentations today! Throughout the year, students developed, researched, and prototyped projects that applied their unique gifts and talents to real-world scenarios and problem solving.

7th grade AVID students visited the University of Denver campus today. One of the elements of the AVID program is college exploration. We appreciate the University of Denver allowing us to tour their campus to learn more about life at college.

So incredibly proud of our girls soccer team! 🥈⚽️ These amazing athletes fought hard all season and brought home a fantastic 2nd place finish!

More importantly, they have been absolute leaders both on and off the field, showing what true student-athletes look like with their positivity and dedication. Way to represent Stuart Middle School, girls! We couldn’t be prouder of your hard work and heart! 💪
