Family Promise of Greater Denver is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization independently affiliated with a national organization founded in 1988 and comprised of more than 180 affiliates in 41 states. This model partners with diverse, faith congregations to provide shelter and hospitality. Family Promise of Greater Denver began serving homeless families in November of 1997 with 10 host congregations an

d four support congregations. We now have two rotations with 21 host congregations, 42 support congregations, and two civic groups. We also focused on self-sufficiency, offering support services such as case management, family advocacy, life skills classes and access to community resources to help each family to improve their financial condition and obtain stable housing. Family Promise of Greater Denver Hosts Annual Resource & Back-to-School Fair 📚🎒

Family Promise of Greater Denver recently welcomed current and former program families to its annual Resource and Back-to-School Fair—a day of practical support, connection, and celebration as families prepare for the school year ahead.

The fair provided families with much-needed backpacks and school supplies, along with books, food, giveaways, games, and opportunities to spend time together. Families were also able to access school enrollment assistance and connect with resources that can help make the transition into a new school year a little easier.
