The Commerce, TX Senior Center meets Mondays and Wednesdays from 10am-1pm for Bingo and lunch. Come join us for games, fun, and community!

We had a cozy group of 19 today, including a brand new senior to our community who we all enjoyed meeting. Stacy from Heritage Home Health & Hospice brought prizes and called Bingo for us today, and also brought her grandkids! Congratulations to Patsy with 5 Bingo wins on the day, Bonnie and James with 4 each, Yvonne, Buddy, and Bill with 3 each, and Neva with 2 Bingo wins plus a Blackout win!

Next week we have a great lineup of guests, and as always the greatest community in Commerce. Come join us!

Our Monday Bingo game drew 24 playing for prizes, as well as a beloved visitor! Even on an overcast, wet day, we turn out to see our friends. Congratulations to Patsy with 4 Bingo wins, and to Betty with 3 Bingo wins plus a Blackout win!

We also enjoyed Jim stopping by to see us, and I think we all agreed that it was his duty to eat a doughnut while he was hanging out!

Wednesday the Senior Center had 24 folks out to play Bingo and win prizes, and had a wonderful guest Bingo caller! Erica from Healing Touch Homecare LLC brought prizes and MC'd our morning, and is always a lot of fun to have visit our community! Congratulations to Buddy with 4 wins, and Linda and Shelia with 3 wins each!

We're always looking for more seniors who love good company and playing games together to join us! If you haven't visited us yet, we meet on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10am-12pm for Bingo, then have a free lunch for seniors 60+ from 12-1. Hope to see you there!

We had 25 turn out for Bingo yesterday, with a few big winners! Congratulations to Sondra on a huge day with 4 wins, and to Angela and Bernice for 3 wins each! Rickey called Bingo for us from his phone, and we handed out a whopping 33 prizes!

To Sondra, we all hope you get to feeling better soon!

And to MaryJane, thank you so much for the amazing Crown-of-thorns plant, my wife and I both love it!

We celebrated the 4th of July this week with remembrance and respect for those who've made it possible, along with a feast of snacks and a whole bunch of patriotic hats (and shirts, and shoes, and more). Rickey called Bingo, everyone ate cake, and a great day of celebration was had by all! Congratulations to all of our winners, who I didn't record because of the festivities, and because let's face it, we all win on the 4th of July! We also wish a happy birthday to all of our July folks along with our country!

Thanks to everyone who brought in snacks, our decorating committee for doing a wonderful job with the space, and to everyone who came to enjoy the day with us!

Yesterday 25 seniors turned out for Bingo and lunch, and Rickey called so fast that we handed out 34 prizes on the day! Congrats to Bonnie, Lou, Buddy, Neva, and Patsy with 3 wins each!

On Wednesday (July 1) from 10am-1pm we'll be double-celebrating July birthdays and also the 4th of July. It's the perfect day to come out if you haven't joined us before, as we'll have snacks, decorations, and lots of fun!

Yesterday's Bingo turnout was great, with 28 folks playing for prizes and fame! Rusty from Cypress Basin Hospice brought prizes and called some hilarious games for us. The deep southern drawl game was the funniest, and of course I had to join him in the hijinks. Congrats to Lou on 4 wins for the morning, and to Lou's table for running away with darn near the whole prize pool!

As always on Wednesdays, big thanks to Sweeties Donut Shop for supplying us with a box of their best. We always appreciate all they do for our community! Also huge thanks to Angela for bringing in extra prizes!

We had a great Monday turnout of 28 seniors playing Bingo and having fun! This week is very special for us, as our two senior seniors are both celebrating birthdays! You know who you are, and how much we all love and cherish you!

Rickey called Bingo for us yesterday, and we handed out 32 prizes! Congratulations to Buddy with a whopping four wins on the day, and to Angela and Lou with three each! Also congratulations to Ken for winning Blackout, and also to Joyce for winning Blackout for the first time along with him!!

This month has been amazing so far, with so many great visitors bringing prizes and calling Bingo. Yesterday was another wonderful day, with Stacy from Heritage Home Health & Hospice coming by and even bringing her grandkids to spend the morning with our 24 seniors!

Congratulations to Joyce with 4 Bingo wins on the day and to several others with 2 each. Happy Birthday to our two special folks who had birthdays this week (you know who you are)! Also thanks to Mary, MaryJane, and Bill for letting me watch what was the most exciting game of Wahoo I've ever seen!

As always, big thanks to Sweeties Donut Shop in Commerce for supplying us with treats for the day!

We had a hilarious day of Bingo, with Alicia from Angels Care Home Health bringing prizes and calling games for our 22 seniors! She was so much fun and brought our community a lot of great information too! She also came with a box of jewelry for our seniors to pick out as prizes, which was a huge hit!

Big congratulations to Bill with 4 Bingo's on the day, Ivonne and Joyce with 3 each (and probably a few others with 3 I forgot), and to every other person in the room with at least 1 win each! Alicia refused to stop calling Bingo until everyone won a prize, which had us all rolling at the end!

If you are or know a senior who hasn't visited us yet and who likes Bingo and great company, come see us on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10-11:30am for Bingo, and stay for free lunch (for those 60 and over) at noon!
