As EMS Week comes to an end, we want to recognize all of the incredible EMS providers, ambulance crews, first responders, and QRS services who answer the call every single day.
Our department started our QRS program with one goal in mind — to better serve our community when seconds matter most. What began as a way to provide quicker medical assistance has grown into something we are extremely proud of. Through countless calls, trainings, and experiences, our members have continued to grow as providers, teammates, and responders.
We’ve come a long way since the beginning, and we are excited for what the future holds as we continue expanding our knowledge, certifications, skills, and capabilities to better care for those in need.
A special thank you goes out to the ambulance services we work alongside every day. Your professionalism, teamwork, and willingness to welcome our assistance has helped make our program what it is today. We value the relationships we’ve built and appreciate everything you do for our communities.
To every EMS provider — career, volunteer, paid, hospital-based, private, municipal, fire-based, and every QRS service — thank you for your dedication, compassion, and commitment to helping others during their worst moments.
Happy EMS Week from all of us at Commodore VFD/540 QRS!
