At Kent District Library, we are so fortunate to have a vibrant community of Friends groups. For this National Friends of Libraries Week, we would like to recognize their efforts to support the library.

With 271 active members across fourteen of our branches, we have a lot of friends to be thankful for!

These Friends of the Library groups sell books and donate time and money to KDL. By their efforts, we are able to host additional branch events like author visits, system-wide events like On the Same Page, and our branches can have beautiful murals and musical sound gardens.

Join us this week as we highlight the different Friends of the Library groups who help make KDL better for our neighborhoods.
