Music is Coming to the Streets of Concord!

To celebrate their 20th Anniversary, the Concord Conservatory of Music is partnering with the global arts nonprofit Sing for Hope to launch Pianos on the Town! Now through June 26, 2026, artist-designed pianos will appear at iconic locations throughout Concord and West Concord; free for anyone to play, enjoy, and discover.

The community is invited to the official launch event, the “Piano Xtravaganza”:

When: Saturday, May 30 at 10:30 AM
Where: Brookside Square, 70 Beharrell Street, West Concord (Bruce Freeman Rail Trail Bridge)
What: A high‑energy outdoor performance featuring CCM students and faculty playing together
on multiple pianos to kick off the month‑long residency.

Whether you’re a seasoned pianist, a music student, or someone who’s never touched a key, these open-air stages are for you.

Explore: Discover all the uniquely designed pianos across town.

Play: Every piano is unlocked and ready. Sit down and make music!

Connect: Share your experience! Use and tag to be featured on social media.

Visit the website to learn about the artists and check out our June pop-up performance schedule: https://concordconservatory.org/news-events/pianos-on-the-town-live/

Come celebrate our town’s creative spirit and bring the joy of live music into everyday life!

Pianos on the Town is proud to be part of the town-wide Concord250 celebration. We are grateful for the vision and support that make this project possible.

Pianos on the Town is made possible through the collaboration of community leaders, volunteers, and our partners at Sing for Hope Piano(s).
Together, we’re strengthening Concord’s cultural fabric - one piano at a time.
