It’s City Council week!

We’ve got a packed agenda this month, including the public hearing and Council vote on the fiscal year 2027 budget. This budget maintains the current property tax rate and prioritizes funding for essential City services and employee retention to sustain the high level of services residents expect and deserve.

☀️🍎 FREE summer meals are back!
Cabarrus County Schools is proud to offer FREE healthy meals to all children and teens 18 years old and younger through our Summer School Nutrition Program mobile meal routes.
📅 June 1 – July 31, 2026
🗓️ Monday – Thursday
✅ Child must be present to receive meals

Our mobile meal buses will make stops throughout Cabarrus County each weekday to help ensure children have access to nutritious meals all summer long.
