Our food Pantry is growing! We now serve over 130 people each week and are looking for 2 Food Pantry Volunteers to assist with receiving, sorting, and distributing food products while keeping the pantry and boutique clean, safe, and welcoming for clients.

Our volunteers are vital to helping families access fresh fruits, vegetables, and other nutritious food items. Volunteers help create and keep a supportive, respectful environment that reflects the Nursery’s values of kindness, compassion, and non judgment.

We’re so thankful for everyone who supported our Toy Drive, Adopt-A-Family program, and holiday meal efforts this season. Because of you, so many families felt the love during Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Together, we:
🎁 Gave out over 5,000 toys and gifts to 700 children and parents
🍽️ Provided holiday meals to 900 people

Breaking Point
A mom came to us after her family hit a breaking point—too many hard things piling up at once. She wasn’t asking for a miracle. She was asking for a safe place for her preschooler while she figured out what to do next.

We said yes. 💛

Her child had a warm bed, meals, playtime, and gentle caregivers who know how to help kids feel secure. Mom had time to connect with resources and make a plan.
That’s the heart of our work.

Respite that feels human
One mom told us something we hear a lot, “I love my child more than anything…I’m just so tired.”

Parenting in poverty, under stress, with no break—it wears on your body and your heart. So she brought her toddler to the Nursery for respite care.

Her child spent the day painting, giggling, and making a brand-new best friend in the playroom. 🎨😄

Mom got a few hours to rest, breathe, and meet with our team for support.

Sometimes, the most powerful thing we can give a parent is time to exhale.
