Please note the following street closures for Cars & Coffee on Capitol on Sunday, August 9 from 6 a.m. to noon. The event runs from 8-11 a.m.
Park Street will be closed from North Main Street to Green Street;
Capitol Street will be closed from North Main Street to Green Street; and
North State Street will be closed from Centre Street to School Street.

The show is held around the state capitol building on Capitol St, Park St and State St in Concord, NH directly across from Revelstoke Coffee. The streets are closed to normal traffic, open for show car parking only.

CONCORD CRITERIUM BIKE RACE - AUGUST 8
The following streets will be closed on Saturday, August 8 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. for the Concord Criterium Bike Race:
White Street, from Beacon Street to Washington Street;
Washington Street, from Perry Avenue to Centre Street;
Centre Street, from Washington Street to Liberty Street;
Liberty Street, from the rotary to Franklin Street;
Franklin Street, from Liberty Street to Charles Street;
Charles Street, from Franklin Street to Beacon Street; and
All of Beacon Street.

From the organizers:
The Concord Criterium Bike Race is back for its 43rd Edition at White Park, this Saturday, August 8! To ensure the safety of all participants, spectators, staff, and residents of Concord, the streets immediately surrounding White Park will be completely closed to traffic from 7 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Saturday. All cars must be removed from street parking spaces around White Park by 7 a.m. on Saturday or risk being towed at the owner’s expense.

White Park will remain open to residents. The parking lot is only accessible via Rumford Street. There will be staff situated at the intersection of Rumford and White Street to help guide you across.

Come out and enjoy the racing! There will be a food truck from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Thank you in advance for sharing your neighborhood with us! We recognize the impact our event may have on residents, but we hope you can come out and support our racers nonetheless!

Join us for Concord's historic America 250 / Concord 300 Fourth of July Parade as we celebrate the 250th Anniversary of American Independence and Concord's 300th Anniversary!

Event Details:
Date: Saturday, July 4, 2026
Parade Starts at 9 a.m.
Location: Downtown Concord, New Hampshire

The following streets will be closed 8-11 a.m. on July 4:
Storrs Street;
Pleasant Street Extension from Storrs Street to North Main Street;
Hills Avenue from Storrs Street to South Main Street; and
South/North Main Street from Hills Avenue to Storrs Street.

Parking:
Parking is free in the City on July 4
All City Parking Garages will be open - Storrs Street Garage will be only accessible from the south, as the north entrance to Storrs Street will be closed for the parade line up
TD Bank North parking lot on South Main Street
Christ the King Church on South Main Street
Street parking on South Main Street to Hills Avenue and the streets adjacent to State Street.

The parade will travel through downtown Concord and conclude at the State House Lawn, where the community celebration continues with live entertainment, historical programming, family activities, and patriotic festivities throughout the day.

A Day of Celebration After the Parade:
10 a.m. – State House Lawn programs
11 a.m. - 3 p.m. - State Hours Tours throughout the day
11 a.m. – Open House at the New Hampshire Historical Society
2 p.m. - Old Fashioned Baseball Game at Memorial Field
6 p.m. - Food Trucks roll in to Memorial Field
7 p.m. - The Nevers Band
9:20 p.m. (dusk) - Fireworks Celebration at Memorial Field hosted by the City of Concord & Concord Parks and Recreation

JULY 4 FIREWORKS AT MEMORIAL FIELD
Concord's annual Fourth of July Fireworks display will be held on the evening of Saturday, July 4, 2026. Festivities begin at 6 p.m. with food vendors and music. Nevers Band will be playing at 7:45 p.m. Fireworks will be at approximately 9:20 p.m. (dusk). The rain date is Sunday, July 5.

To accommodate this event, several traffic pattern modifications will occur, beginning at 3:30 p.m. on July 4:
South Fruit Street will be limited to one-way traffic in a northerly direction, from Clinton Street to Pleasant Street.
Redington Road will be one-way in an easterly direction, from Tuttle Street to South Fruit Street.
Minot Street will be one-way in a northerly direction from Pleasant Street to School Street.
There will be several other minor traffic pattern modifications in the area and on the grounds of the New Hampshire Hospital as well.

At the conclusion of the fireworks display, vehicles that have parked on the State Hospital grounds will be directed to exit easterly through the campus and onto Pleasant Street.

Motorists attending the fireworks are asked to observe all posted traffic signs and parking restrictions in the area. Parking in the Memorial Field Parking Lot will be restricted to handicapped parking only.

In order to minimize congestion, motorists not attending the fireworks are encouraged to use alternate routes during this period. Main parking lot for handicapped parking.

In the event of rain, the fireworks will be held on the evening of July 5 and the same traffic patterns will apply.

Please be aware that Main Street will be temporarily closed from Thursday, June 25th at 4 AM to Sunday, June 28th at 1 AM. Additionally, the following side streets will also be closed: Pleasant, Depot, Warren, School, Capitol, and Park Streets.
