This morning CFD Ladder 1 responded to 840 Main Street in Acton. Ladder 1 assisted the Acton Fire Department in extinguishing a fire in a commercial building. No injuries were reported.

Today members of the Concord Fire Department and Police Department attended the ribbon cutting ceremony for Gerow Park. It’s located just off Commonwealth Ave. The park sits along the Bruce Freeman Rail Trail next to Warners Pond. It’s a great spot to enjoy the outdoors.

Today the Concord Fire Department responded to a report of smoke in a building. On arrival there was smoke showing from a residential structure. A box was struck for a working fire. Crews worked hard to extinguish a basement fire. There were no reported injuries. We would like to thank our mutual aid companies, Lincoln FD, Bedford FD, Lexington FD, Weston FD, Maynard FD, Hanscom AFB FD, and Pro ALS.
