🔔 The state cut its share. You got the bill! 🔔

New Hampshire once paid **35%** of the employer retirement contributions for firefighters, police officers, and teachers. The Legislature cut support, leaving local communities to pick up the cost - and put more pressure on YOUR property taxes. Here’s how the state’s share disappeared:

🟢 Before FY2010: 35%
🔴 FY2010: 30%
🔴 FY2011: 25%
🔴 FY2012: A fixed $3.5 million statewide
🔴 FY2013: The contribution was eliminated

Those costs didn’t disappear. They landed in our town and school budgets. I believe responsible budgeting means being honest about who ultimately pays.

On November 3, we can restore balance and accountability to our State Legislature. I’m ready to work across party lines, stop shifting costs onto our communities, and deliver lasting property tax relief.
