Rotary is an organization of business and professional leaders worldwide, who provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, help build goodwill and peace in the world, and enjoy the fellowship of those who have united to accomplish these objectives. This is exemplified in the official

Rotary motto: “Service above Self”

The objective of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and, in particular, to encourage and foster

FIRST – The development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service;

SECOND – High ethical standards in business and professions; the recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations; and the dignifying of each Rotarian’s occupation as an opportunity to serve society;

THIRD – The application of the ideal of service in each Rotarian’s personal, business and community life;

FOURTH – The advancement of international understanding, goodwill and peach through a world fellowship of business and professional persons united. THE ROTARY FOUR WAY TEST:

Of the things we think, say or do:

Is it the TRUTH? Is it FAIR to all concerned? Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS? Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned? Qualifications for Membership

Rotarians are adults of good character and good business and professional reputation, who hold or have held an executive position with discretionary authority in any worthy and recognized business or profession. The Organization of Rotary

Rotary is essentially a grassroots organization, with most of its efforts being carried out at the club level. The district and international structure is designed to support the clubs and help them serve their local and world community. Rotarians are members of a local Rotary Club, which belongs to the global association of Rotary International (RI). Each club elects its own officers and enjoys considerable autonomy within the framework of Rotary International.

What a wonderful morning at Rotary Day at the Library! 📚✨

We loved celebrating our Rotary District Grant implementation with families at the Library and Active Learning Center at Afton Ridge. Children explored new hands-on learning activities, collected stamps on their activity cards, and enjoyed prizes!

Our club members spent this week hard at work preparing the activity stations and setting up the new equipment for the library, and it was so rewarding to see everything come to life for the children and families in our community.

A big thank-you to everyone who joined us and helped make this event such a success! 💙💛
