We were happy to join the school for a Touch-a-Truck event during their open house this past Monday. We loved seeing all the smiling faces while climbing through the trucks. Riggs, our unofficial/official new mascot, was also happy to meet so many new friends and hopes to see everyone at the next event!

July 26th we joined Pulaski Township FD and Homer FireDepartment for some extrication training. We worked to use our jaws and stabilization tools, practicing old techniques while also learning new ones. We would like to thank Jimmie's Towing for providing the cars and Pulaski for the hospitality.

If you see a tree down with cones around it in the roadway avoid these areas. The Village DPW has pushed aside all other downed trees they could out of the roads and into the right of way at the edge of the road and will begin cleaning them up when they return from 4th of July holiday on Monday.
