Tuesday, June 9 beginning at 5 pm through Wednesday, June 10 at 5 pm

We’re excited to invite you to take part in NH Gives on June 9–10—a powerful opportunity to support the nonprofits and community organizations that New Hampshire relies on now more than ever.
Across our state, nonprofits are stepping up every day to meet growing needs, strengthen communities, and care for our neighbors.
This year, The Woman’s Club of Concord has set a goal to raise $3000 to fund scholarships for women for our Opportunity Fund and High School Scholarship fund. With your generosity, we can
ensure women of all ages can receive the financial assistance they need to further their training and education in order to become self-sufficient.

How can you help?

How wonderful on Friday May 8 to be able to support three young women in their efforts to attend the college or university of their choice for their next step in their careers. We presented each of them with a scholarship of $3,000. We couldn't be more proud of each of them!

Last night we awarded three $3,000 scholarships to incredibly deserving young women to help them attend the schools of their choice after graduation. It is always the highlight of our Annual Meeting. Thanks goes to all of our members for helping us raise the money to support these life changing scholarships. And thanks to the scholarship committee chairs Linda Gilbert and Carole Palmer for managing this WCC program. This year these young women are studying at Concord High School and Merrimack Valley High School and have been recommended by their guidance counselors. They have completed an application and provided recommendations.

What a fun afternoon!

We had a lovely afternoon at Chamberlin House for "High Tea & Fresh Flowers!" Woman's Club of Concord had 38 members and guests and had 3 brand new members join the Club. Lorrie Carey, our WCC President, with Linda Gilbert, hosted the affair. Of course, tea tastes better out of silver pots and bone china cups! "Pinkies Up!" All! Lorrie made 38 arrangements for every attendee to take home a fresh arrangement! Even in the rain, the yard looked great after Hansi Glahn and Janice Severance worked for hours on Saturday cleaning up the yard.

What a terrific topic, turnout and program tonight at Chamberlin House! Ruth Droescher, Advanced Master Gardener with the UNH Cooperative Extension brought in 25+ Club members with lots of great information for Birdscaping!
