8/4/2026 - Training

Flowes Store Fire Department conducted a live fire training exercise in an acquired structure. This is a rare opportunity to train in realistic but controlled conditions and is extremely beneficial for our new firefighters.

We want to thank the property owner for donating the house and Harrisburg Engine 33 for covering our station and calls so we could focus on training.
We also want to thank the following for their assistance.

TRAINING ALERT - 8/4/2026

Flowes Store will be holding a live fire training exercise on an acquired structure on Running Brook Rd tomorrow 8/4/2026.

Expect to see smoke in the area and fire apparatus starting about 8am until the afternoon.

This is a planned and controlled training evolution that provides firefighters with valuable hands on experience in a realistic environment.

If you see smoke and are unsure if it is related to the training exercise, or if you have concerns it may be coming from another location, please call 911 and allow dispatchers to determine if a response is needed.

We appreciate your patience and support as we continue training to better serve our community.

8/1/26 - WORKING FIRE assisting Midland FD

Flowes Store was dispatched to assist Midland FD with a possible structure fire on Pope Rd. Midland FD arrived to a fire in the kitchen and upgraded it to a working fire. Flowes Store Engine 2 arrived and was assigned a primary search. Flowes Store completed a primary search and assisted on scene until released by command.

-Remember to check your smoke detectors and change their batteries.
-Keep stovetops clear of flammable items

7/25/26 - WORKING FIRE assisting Harrisburg FD

Early this morning Flowes Store was dispatched to assist Harrisburg FD with a structure fire on Geneva Dr. Flowes Store Tanker 13 arrived 2nd due and supplied Harrisburg E33 with water and assisted with a primary search.

6/26/26 - PIN-IN / EXTRICATION assisting Midland FD

Flowes Store was dispatched to assist Midland with a Pin-In up grade on Flowes Store Rd. Flowes Store E2 responded and assisted with extrication.

6/20/26 - WORKING FIRE assisting Mint Hill FD

Flowes Store FD was dispatched to assist Mint Hill FD with a tanker for a working fire on Friar Tuck Ln. Flowes Store Tanker 13 and multiple personnel responded. Flowes Store Tanker 13 assisted with water supply and supplied 16000 gallons of water. Personnel assisted with fire attack.
