The Wind Advisory now through 10 AM Wednesday has been expanded to include the North Bay Interior Valleys and Coast, San Francisco, the San Francisco Bayshore, and the East Bay Interior Valleys. Expect northerly to northeasterly winds of 20-30mph with gusts up to 40-50mph.

A Wind Advisory is in effect for 20-30 mph winds with gusts as high as 50 mph in higher terrain. Expect difficulty driving high profile vehicles. Outdoor objects will be blown around. Combined with the rain and saturated soils, some trees will likely fall and could cause a few power outages.

The NOAA NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a marginal Risk for Severe Thunderstorms for parts of the Bay Area and Central Coast for possible severe wind gusts this morning. Secure all loose objects outdoors! When thunder roars, go indoors! See a flash, dash inside!

Strong, gusty winds return this afternoon with High Wind Warnings set to go into effect along the coast and the East Bay Hills this evening through Saturday morning. Wind Advisories will go into effect this afternoon and continue through 10 AM Saturday. Strong south winds 30 to 40 miles per hour with gusts up to 55 miles per hour are possible. Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects, and downed tree limbs could result in power outages.

Today, we honor the lives lost and sacrifices made 83 years ago during the attack on Pearl Harbor. December 7, 1941, will forever be a day of remembrance and reflection. We pay tribute to the over 2,400 Americans who died and the many more who were injured.
