Heading to Music & Market this Thursday, September 3, 2026? Please plan ahead!

Mt. Diablo Street, between Willow Pass Road and Salvio Street, will be closed to traffic during Music & Market to accommodate the City of Concord’s Emergency Preparedness Fair.

Construction of the Sewer Maintenance Project No. 1 will begin this Thursday August 27. The project involves sewer rehabilitation improvements at seven locations within the City, and one in the City of Clayton.

Project locations and tentative schedules are as follows, weather permitting:

* Construction Hours: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
* Full Road Closure Hours: 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

• Armand Dr from Glazier Dr to Thornwood Dr – Full Road Closure
August 27 – October

• Matheson Road – Full Road Closure
September – November

• San Simeon Dr at 2800 Saint Joseph

• Iron Horse Trail by Concord Ave and Stanwell Dr

• Solano Wy in various easements between Avon Ave and Hilltop Rd
