Recreation, travel, sports, and time outdoors should offer opportunities for people of all abilities to participate. Across the country, adaptive recreation programs and advances in equipment are creating new ways for people with disabilities to enjoy activities ranging from cycling and hiking to water sports.

These innovations are a great reminder that sometimes expanding what's possible starts with rethinking how an activity is designed.
