Monday night, members got hands-on with vehicle extrication training at the hall while also getting the opportunity to demo the newest battery-powered Amkus tools.

The newer battery-powered equipment continues to impress with its speed, power, and mobility, giving firefighters more options on the scene and helping us work safer and more efficiently.

A huge thank you to the Amkus reps for making the demo possible and Boston, Volunteer Fire Dept. - NY for joining us.

Today a few members took a ride up to Medina to join a no tap bowling tournament hosted by Shelby Vol Fire Co Inc. had to much fun to remember to take pictures but thank you to everyone who was there. We had a great time and look forward to your golf outing!!

One of the biggest parts of being Chief when a call comes in is knowing who to call, what resources to request, and how much help to ask for.
Sometimes the only information you have is that there’s a fire, and the smoke can be seen from miles away.
As volunteers, we do everything we can to respond, but the reality is we can’t always get everyone there. That’s why mutual aid is so important.

After completing IFO, he took on his final test today—and passed, just as we knew he would. His dedication to training and unwavering commitment to the hall and our community truly sets the standard.
