Another major milestone is coming for the Woodstock Bridge project.
On Tuesday morning, August 11, Evroks is scheduled to begin tensioning the bridge's new cables. This important step follows weeks of work removing the existing cable ties, preparing the arch connections, installing the new cable system, and completing other structural work.
Evroks has also been installing composite scuppers and forming the new lightweight concrete deck over steel exodermic panels as work continues on the bridge.
Check out the latest photos to see the progress being made.

Today, crew members of the NHDOT came together to help care for our Memorial to Public Works Employees, ensuring it remains a place of honor, remembrance, and reflection.
Thank you to everyone who volunteered their time this morning to clean up the memorial. Your efforts help preserve a meaningful space dedicated to the public works professionals who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to their communities.
This year, four names were added to the memorial, including one of our own. As we worked together today, we were reminded that behind every name is a story of dedication, service, and commitment to keeping others safe.
Thank you to everyone who lent a hand and helped keep this special place looking its best.

DYK? August is National Traffic Safety Awareness Month: a timely reminder that every decision we make behind the wheel affects the safety of everyone on the road. As summer travel continues, and back-to-school and commuter traffic increases, stay alert and be aware of your surroundings. Check your blind spots, use your turn signals, obey speed limits, and keep distractions out of reach. Watch for pedestrians, cyclists, roadside workers, and other vulnerable road users, especially in busy travel corridors and work zones.
When traveling on highways served by the New Hampshire DOT Safety Patrol, sponsored by GEICO keep an eye out for roadway signs identifying patrol coverage areas.
This month, and every month, let's do our part to make our roads safer. Drive responsibly, stay focused, and help keep traffic moving safely for all.
