Thank you, Ward 1 voters! I appreciate your support and am honored to serve as your city councilor for the next two years. Please remember that I’m here to work for you. Feel free to contact me with concerns or questions.

We’ve made great progress on potential commercial and industrial development at Whitney Road/Exit 17, while adding jobs and housing in Penacook. There’s plenty more to do, and I’ll continue to post information and updates on these and other issues on my website, brenttoddconcord.com. I appreciate my opponent Kevin Miller's participation in this race. It takes a lot of time and work to prepare for an election, and we should thank those who make the effort to get involved in the process.

In Penacook, volunteers are always needed in our schools, and in our community organizations such as the Penacook Village Association, Penacook Historical Society, and Penacook Community Center. Please consider joining these groups to lend a hand. Any time volunteered is greatly appreciated.

I look forward to working together to make our community even better!

Local elections are extremely important. Please vote tomorrow, Nov. 5th.

We're making great progress in Penacook. I'm looking forward to helping Penacook continue its upward swing, with more jobs added to the community, more shops, more housing options, plus newly assessed businesses to help with taxes.

But I need your vote to continue this progress. Please stop by the Immaculate Conception Church on Bonney St, 7 am - 7 pm and cast your vote. Thanks for your support!

Glad to share more exciting news about the new supermarket in Penacook! The Rauseos have worked hard for several years to make this a reality. I was very pleased to assist them move their plans forward. This included outreach to the public, community input, removal of land covenants by city council, and approval of a zoning change.

Our next step will be working with the DOT for intersection improvements and determining the funding to make those improvements. That's where I'll need your help. Please vote for me on Nov. 5th so we can shop at our new Market Basket in 2 years!

We wanted you to hear it first! Thank you for your continued support!

Interchange Development LLC and Market Basket are announcing their plans to move forward with development of an 80,000 square foot supermarket and abutting 20,000 square foot retail store at I-93 Exit 17. Market Basket will anchor other commercial uses proposed on the 43 acre site, one of the largest developments in central New Hampshire.

Construction is expected to start in 2020 and Market Basket is targeting a 2021 opening. The development is contingent upon construction of intersection improvements at Route 4 and Whitney Road. Such roadway improvements are necessary even today, as Route 4 carries over 20,000 vehicles per day.

The owners of the property, David and Laurie Rauseo, and Market Basket greatly appreciate the ongoing support and assistance of the Concord City Council, including Brent Todd, Ward 1 Councilor and Mayor Jim Bouley, as well as City of Concord staff. They look forward to continuing to work with the Council and City staff as the development advances through the local and state permitting phases.
