We as a community have suffered a tremendous loss of a remarkable human. Tonight, we mourn with our brothers and sisters of Lyndonville Fire as they navigate the passing of one of their own this morning. Please respect the family and the members of LFD as they learn this path they have been given.

May you rest in sweet peace Cap, we will do our best to take it from here.

Concord Residents & traveling folks!

Tomorrow construction will start on Cross Rd tc replace a culvert. The section highlighted in the picture is what will be closed. The intersection of Prospect St and Cross Rd will be open. Last update from the company, they're hoping to be done by Friday with good weather. With that being said, we do have rain in the schedule

Reminder that the access road up behind the Concord School is emergency traffic onlv! It's understood that the school is not in session but people do work in the building an people do use the playground from time to time. The sheriff's department has been notified of this closure an should be keeping an eye on the area to reduce risk.

The Vemront Division of Fire Safety and the Office of the State Fire Marshal extend our deepest condolences to the family, friends, and fellow firefighters mourning the loss of a firefighter killed in the line of duty during the devastating explosion and fire at the Robbins Lumber mill in Searsmont, Maine.

We also continue to keep the injured firefighters, emergency responders, mill employees, and the entire Searsmont community in our thoughts as they face the difficult days ahead.

This tragic incident is a powerful reminder of the dangers firefighters and emergency responders face every time they answer the call. Their courage and dedication in the service of others will never be forgotten.

We stand with our brothers and sisters in Maine and with all agencies involved in the ongoing response and recovery efforts. 🇺🇸🚒

Happy Sunday morning Concord Folks! I have been working on a online form for requesting burn permits. Please feel free to utilize this method if you wish. You can find it at https://forms.gle/SZeddZafY9hcqfeXA. Please keep in mind permits are required with all outside burning. We would rather know about a open burn with a permit issued then getting toned out unnecessarily an stretching our already limited resources in town.
