In national parks and public lands across the country, the Legacy Restoration Fund (LRF) has enabled nearly 400 repair projects, including vital preservation projects at Minute Man National Historical Park.

We proudly stand with the National Park Foundation, the National Park Friends Alliance, and park partners nationwide in urging Congress to pass the America the Beautiful Act to renew the LRF.

National Park Service conservators are treating and cleaning the monuments throughout Minute Man National Historical Park, including the Minute Man statue and this bronze bas-relief of Major John Buttrick visible from Liberty Street, near the Major John Buttrick House. Conservators use soft natural bristle brushes to gently clean the monument and then add a layer of paste wax to protect it from the elements. Regular maintenance helps preserve the Park's sculpture and monuments for generations to come.

Just in time for the 250th anniversary of American independence, we're unveiling a new look!

Since 1989, the Friends of Minute Man has grown from a small group of dedicated supporters into the official philanthropic partner of Minute Man National Historical Park. As we celebrate America's 250th anniversary, we're excited to introduce a refreshed logo that honors our history while preparing us for the future.

Our new design features the iconic Minuteman in a modern, versatile style that will appear across our website, publications, merchandise, and more. While our look has evolved, our commitment to preserving the birthplace of the American Revolution remains stronger than ever.

Special thanks to the National Park Foundation for supporting this rebranding project and to Curio Museum Design for bringing our vision to life.

Watch for our new logo in the months ahead. And don't worry, you'll still see our special 250th Anniversary logo on commemorative programs and events!
