The purpose of the Virginia State Crime Clinic, Inc. is to encourage law enforcement agencies and security professionals throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia to combat crime through the exchange of information. The crime clinic seeks to achieve this purpose by developing cooperation and communication

The Virginia State Crime Clinic is proud to announce its 59th Annual Seminar, which will be held at
the Embassy Suites by Hilton Hampton Convention Center from September 24 to 26, 2025. The
seminar aims to foster collaboration between law enforcement agencies and private security
services, addressing critical topics pertinent to community safety. This seminar will offer
outstanding training.

Location and Accommodation: The seminar will take place at the Embassy Suites by Hilton
Hampton Convention Center, located at 1700 Coliseum Drive, Hampton, Virginia, 23666.
Attendees can enjoy a special room rate of $110 per night, available until September 10, 2025,

Seminar Purpose: The purpose of this seminar is to build cohesion and partnerships between law
enforcement agencies and private security services, providing critical services to our
constituencies. The seminar will highlight a variety of pertinent and highly relevant topics
delivered by exceptional trainers from across the Commonwealth and nation

Location and Accommodation: The seminar will take place at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Hampton Convention Center, located at 1700 Coliseum Drive, Hampton, Virginia, 23666. Attendees can enjoy a special room rate of $110 per night, available until August 23, 2025, or until the group block is sold out. The hotel offers excellent access to I-64 and is just 8 miles from Newport News Airport and Newport News/Williamsburg International Airport. It is also minutes away from popular attractions such as Hampton Coliseum, Hampton Roads Convention Center, Peninsula Town Center, Virginia Air and Space Center with IMAX Theater, Hampton University, Historical Fort Monroe, and Buckroe Beach.
Seminar Purpose and Topics: The purpose of this seminar is to build cohesion and partnerships between law enforcement agencies and private security services, providing critical services to our constituencies. The seminar will highlight a variety of pertinent and highly relevant topics delivered by exceptional trainers from across the Commonwealth and nation. Topics to be addressed include Cybersecurity (8 hours), Addressing and Preventing Organized Retail Theft Crimes (4 hours), and Ubiquitous Technical Surveillance (4 hours).
Intended Audience and Credits: This conference is intended for law enforcement officers and those working in the corporate, private security industry, and related fields. Partial in-service credit for law enforcement officers and alternative partial in-service credit hours will be awarded for Regulatory Programs (PSS, SCOP, BB, and BEA).
Registration Details: Pre-registration is required. If you register before September 21, 2025, the conference pre-registration fee is $100 per person, with a bonus for any department or company that has four paid attendees, the fifth attendee will be free. After September 21, 2025, the pre-registration fee will be $125 per person, with no discount. Registration fees are refundable with two weeks' notice before the training/conference. Another registrant can be substituted for the pre-registered participant at no cost.
Transportation, Lodging, and Meals: Attendees are responsible for their transportation, lodging, and meal expenses not covered in the registration fee.
