The intersection at 7th Street and Cloud Street is now closed (9/3/26) until further notice for road construction.

The intersection will be closed through the weekend. Local traffic should plan accordingly.

The City of Concordia apologizes for any inconvenience and thanks the community for their continued patience as we bring this project towards completion.

The intersection of 7th Street and Cloud Street will reopen for public use after 5:00 pm today (8/26). Drivers in that area need to be aware that the area is still under construction, and they should pay attention to construction workers in the area.

The City of Concordia thanks the public for their patience as we work to complete this project.

The intersection of 7th Street and Cloud Street will be closed for road construction beginning today, August 25.

🚗 Local traffic will need to use alternative routes.
🚌 School bus traffic will also need to use alternative routes.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as this work is completed. We will work to reopen the intersection as soon as possible.

Please use caution in the area and plan accordingly.

Back to school is almost here!

As students head back to our Concordia schools, our streets will be a little busier with kids walking, biking, riding the bus, and heading to and from school.

It’s a great time for all of us to get back into the habit of slowing down, staying alert, and looking out for one another.

🚗 Take it a little slower in school zones.
🚌 Give buses plenty of space.
🚸 Keep an eye out at crosswalks.
📵 Put distractions aside.

A little extra awareness goes a long way toward making our community safer.
