Did you know this month is Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month?

Participate in the largest book club on the West Coast in One Book One Coast! Libraries from around California, Oregon, and Washington State are encouraged to read the graphic memoir π‘‡β„Žπ‘’y πΆπ‘Žπ‘™π‘™π‘’π‘‘ π‘ˆπ‘  πΈπ‘›π‘’π‘šπ‘¦ by George Takei.

The graphic memoir is based on actor/activist/author George Takei’s childhood in Japanese American Incarceration Camps. π‘‡β„Žπ‘’y πΆπ‘Žπ‘™π‘™π‘’π‘‘ π‘ˆπ‘  πΈπ‘›π‘’π‘šπ‘¦ by George Takei explores themes of identity, loyalty, resilience, patriotism, and family.

We will have unlimited e-book copies of the graphic novel in Spanish and English available on Libby from now until June 6th.

Celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month by reading Takei's graphic memoir.
