For those residents that aren't aware the Spink County Sheriff's Department uses a service called Nixle to push out Weather Alerts, Advisory, Road Closers, public safety updates and other notifications such as Burn Ban updates via Text Message and email. To sign up either text your zip code to 888777 or visit the website to create an account.

Recently the Conde Fire District received a generous donation from Flyway Farms and Pipestone - Helping Farmers. They operate a hog farm near Bradley SD. We thank you and greatly appreciate the donation!

Conde Fire Department has a fresh shipment of 30 smoke alarms with 10-year batteries to give a way courtesy of a grant offered through the South Dakota Department of Public Safety Fire Marshal's Office. If interest in some please drop a comment or send a private message and we will arrange to get them to you.
