Our condolences to our friends at Rawlinsville Fire Company. We are sorry for your loss

We are sad to hear the news of the unexpected passing of Assistant Chief Aaron Neely, of the Perry Point Fire Department and firefighter of the Citizens Volunteer Fire Company of Fawn Grove on Sunday, August 9th, 2026. Assistant Chief Aaron Neely was a former member and lieutenant of Rawlinsville Vol Fire Company. Aaron joined Rawlinsville Vol Fire Company in December of 2008 and few years later became a lieutenant with the department. After moving out of our first due and no longer being a member of our department this is still a loss of a brother and a father please keep the Neely family in your thoughts and prayers and our condolences to Stacy, Ryan, and Austin.

Not only did we do a little training on water supply with porta-tanks and jet siphons we got to say “see ya later” as Parker moves to North Carolina. Hopefully he gets his dream job of being a professional firefighter, they will be very lucky to have him like we were! Parker we want to thank you for your dedication and friendship and every thing you have done while you were here. We are truly honored to have you beside us! Don’t forget, when you come back to visit and you hear the siren….come on up and hop in a truck!!!🚒🔥🚒

Just a reminder that school is out for summer break! Hopefully the kids are outside having a great time exploring, riding their bikes (safely) or walking around Conestoga.....what ever they may be doing it is important to maintain the 30mph zone on Main St where it is posted. Please pay attention, stay off your phone!!!

🏆🚒 Tanker 53 Takes Home 3rd Place! 🚒🏆
Yesterday, Conestoga Volunteer Fire Company took our new 2024 Kenworth T880, Tanker 53, to the Columbia Borough Firemen’s Parade.
Out of many impressive apparatus in attendance, Tanker 53 was awarded 3rd Place for Best Appearing Tanker.
A special thank you to firefighters Chris Cohan and Kevin Miller for representing Station 53 so well and for the hard work they put into getting this beautiful rig parade-ready.
Congratulations to Quarryville Fire Company on 1st Place and Robert Fulton Fire Company on 2nd Place.
We are proud to bring this trophy home to Station 53! 🏆🚒
