Today we honor and remember those who have served and passed, the Conesus parade starts at 11am at the town hall.

Thank you Assemblywomen Andrea Kingston Bailey for attending, as well as Senator Pam Helming and Assemblywomen Claudia Tenny for helping us to honor our members at our banquet last Saturday.

Bernie was an Assistant Chief of the Conesus Fire Department at the time of his death, for this reason we do not use the identifier Car 3401.

Lt. Bernard "Bernie" Spillman is one of more than 65 Rochester firefighters who have died in the line duty.

But as you dig deeper into the investigation of his death in 1986, you quickly realize that today's firefighters are safer because of this tragedy.
