🎓💙💛 One last walk through Saberland.

On June 16, members of the Susquehanna Valley Class of 2026 retraced the steps of their educational journey during the annual Senior Walk. From the halls of Richard T. Stank Middle School to the classrooms of Brookside & Donnelly, our Senior Sabers were greeted with cheers, smiles, high-fives and plenty of memories.

The day concluded with a special Legacy Walk alongside our Kindergartners… a meaningful moment connecting students at the beginning of their journey with those preparing for their next chapter. Seniors also paused for photos outside their former schools, reflecting on how far they have come and the bright futures ahead.

🎓 Brookside 5th-Grade Moving Up Ceremony
A milestone worth celebrating! Congratulations, Brookside fifth graders!

Brookside’s fifth-grade Sabers marked the end of their elementary school journey during this morning's Moving Up Ceremony. Students reflected on memories and lessons learned throughout their years at Brookside, academic awards were presented, and moving-up certificates were distributed as families, staff and friends celebrated their achievements.

We are so proud of our newest middle school-bound Sabers and look forward to watching them continue to learn, grow and succeed in the years ahead.

🎓 Donnelly Elementary Fifth-Grade Moving Up Ceremony
From Donnelly to the next chapter... Congratulations, Sabers!

Donnelly Elementary's fifth graders celebrated an important milestone yesterday, June 17 as they officially moved up to middle school! During the ceremony, students shared heartfelt reflections on their elementary school years, academic awards were presented, and each student received a moving-up certificate to mark this special achievement.

We are incredibly proud of all they have accomplished and can't wait to see what they achieve as Sabers at the next level. Congratulations to the Donnelly Class of 2033… we know your future is bright!

🎓 Sabers Shine at Regional Scholastic Dinner

SV High School's highest-ranking seniors were celebrated alongside the region's top scholars during the Broome-Tioga BOCES Scholastic Dinner on June 11 at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Binghamton.

Congratulations to Valedictorian LilliOnna D'Introno and Salutatorian Rachel Dumian, who proudly represented the Sabers. They were joined by Superintendent Natalie Brubaker and High School Principal Sydelle Steward for this special evening honoring academic excellence.

LilliOnna plans to attend the University at Albany, where she will study Biochemistry & Molecular Biology with a minor in Spanish as she pursues a career in medicine. She also plans to continue her softball career at the collegiate level. Rachel will attend the University at Buffalo to major in Biochemistry as she works toward her goal of becoming a dentist.

Congratulations to these outstanding students on their achievements and bright futures ahead. Our whole Saberland community is proud of you!
