Several years ago, Rock Solomon purchased a limo bus, saving it from a scrap yard. The large metal contraption turned into his labor of love for the next several years.

Two days ago, this what the bus looked like. It was at a shop in the between and where the eye of made landfall this morning. After pulling two all-nighters I got on the road yesterday morning. After siphining 40 gallons of diesel from a nearby tractor, I drove it through the violent outer bands of irma to West Palm beach & safety. Like me, this bus is unreasonably stubborn in the face of adversity. I have spent the last five years trying to save this bus from the scrap heap, but in the end it ultimately saved me.

The left axle finally went back in last week after a year of sitting. Now working on the Right Axle! I hope to trim off about 360 days off the next side...
