MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS

-Today is Friday, September 4th. It’s the third day of school and a day 3 special rotation. Today is a band day.
-Today is also Bring Your Manners to Work Day, Eat an Extra Dessert Day, and National Wildlife Day.
-Follow your Specials color so you know where to go! Blue group goes to tech ed; gray goes to art; white has FCS; black has computer apps; red goes to gym; and orange has seminar today.
WEATHER:
-The weather today is a high of 77 with light rain.

-Today for lunch there will be Hot Wing Dunkers . And now for sports.

FOOTBALL: The first official football game of the season is on Wednesday, September 9th. It’s a home game against Franklin Area Middle School. The game starts at 4:00. See you there!
GIRLS’ BASKETBALL: Congratulations to the Jr. High Girls' Basketball Team as they defeated the Warren Dragons on Tuesday by a score of 40-8. Molly O Grady led the way for the Lady Eagles with 17 points. Evelyn Bonanti and Lucy Kohler each scored 8. Abby Jackson and Kellie Hruska both chipped in 2 points respectively. The Jr. High J.V. Team also came away with a victory. On Thursday, the Lady Eagles hosted the Oil City Oilers. The Lady Eagles came away with a victory by a score of 22-14. Evelyn Bonanti led the way with 10 points. She scored 8 of those in the fourth quarter. Lucy Kohler and Alex Dugan each scored 4 points. Rayce Joseph chipped in a basket for the Lady Eagles. The J.V. Team played hard but came up short in an 11-9 loss. Great Job girls keep up the hard work.
The next girls’ basketball game is on Tuesday at Cambridge Springs. The game starts at 4:00 with a dismissal at 2:15. Go Eagles!
CROSS COUNTRY: The next Cross Country meet is on Wednesday, September 9th at Franklin Area High School. It starts at 4:00. Let’s go Blue!

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
-Good morning, CAMS!
There is a community movie night TOMORROW, September 5th at the Downtown Linesville Ballfield. Admission is free, but there will be a concession stand to purchase snacks. The Next Right Thing is also conveniently located right next door, so grab some ice cream or french fries before the show starts! Tomorrow we will be screening Moana! The show starts at sundown - around 7:15. Bring a lawn chair and dress for the weather. Remember, this is a FREE event for everyone, hosted by our very own Crawford County Library System! We’d love to see you there!
