Greenwood Heights is Authority-owned housing, with a set rent for all residents.

Thank you for your service, Ambroos!

*K9 AMBROOS’S LAST RIDE TOMORROW*

We are saddened to announce that, due to the rapid progression of K9 Ambroos’s disease, he will be making one final trip through our city tomorrow morning on his way to the vet to be put to rest.

From the start of his cancer treatments, we promised him and our community that we would always keep his quality of life at the forefront of our concerns. Unfortunately, his quality of life is diminishing to such a degree that he will soon be suffering if not put to rest—and we certainly do not want him to suffer!

We want to give our community the opportunity to give him a proper send off, so all are welcome to come line the streets as we pass through the city tomorrow morning, Saturday, March 29th, starting at 9 am.

At 9 am we will turn onto W Crawford from 8th St (Rt 119 north) and head toward the center of town. We will make a left at Brimstone Corner to proceed north on N Pittsburgh St where we will get back on the highway to make our way to his vet.

Immediately after, the Fayette County 911 center will do a last call for those who wish to listen using an emergency services radio or mobile app.

We thank you ALL for the continued support over the years. And we encourage everyone to celebrate the boldness and tenacity of Ambroos’s life with us tomorrow.
