LEGAL NOTICE
The Connellsville Municipal Authority, Fayette County, Pennsylvania, is seeking and will accept sealed bids for the collection, removal and disposal of refuse and recyclable materials from all residential dwellings and commercial businesses located within the municipal boundaries of the City of Connellsville, Fayette County, Pennsylvania.

Bid forms are available and may be obtained from the Office of the Connellsville Municipal Authority, One Municipal Drive, Connellsville, Pennsylvania 15425, starting Monday, August 24, 2026 and thereafter between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., Mondays through Fridays.

A pre-bid conference for prospective bidders will be conducted on Tuesday, September 1, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at the Office of the Connellsville Municipal Authority.

Bids must be delivered and received by the Connellsville Municipal Authority at One Municipal Drive, Connellsville, PA 15425, no later than 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 15, 2026. The bids will be opened and tabulated at a regular meeting of the Connellsville Municipal Authority at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 15, 2026. Formal action on the bids will be taken at a special meeting of the Connellsville Municipal Authority to be held on Tuesday, September 22, 2026 at 6:00 p.m.

The Connellsville Municipal Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any technical defects, inconsistencies or minor irregularities, and to accept the bid deemed most advantageous to the Connellsville Municipal Authority.
