I’m very happy to share that we moved some legislation this session that will truly help support our veterans. 🇺🇸

Our veterans have given so much in service to our country, and while we can never fully repay the sacrifices they have made, I believe these efforts will make a meaningful difference in their lives. It is an honor to support those who have served and to continue working on their behalf.

We were pleased to welcome Congressman Jefferson Shreve, Fayette County Indiana School District, the City of Connersville and Fayette County Economic Development Group to our SYNDIGO 1 mechanical recycling facility in Connersville, Indiana. The group toured the operation and discussed how we are advancing plastics circularity by converting post-consumer polyethylene film into high-quality recycled resins and diverting waste from landfill.

The conversation also highlighted the important role thoughtful policy and continued innovation play in scaling recycling infrastructure and strengthening manufacturing. We sincerely appreciate the Congressman’s compelling questions and high-energy.

NOVA Chemicals is proud to be part of Indiana’s strong manufacturing base. Through investments like SYNDIGO 1, we’re supporting customers with high-performance recycled polyethylene and helping build a more circular future for plastics.

We officially wrapped up the 124th General Assembly session Friday evening!
This was a fast-paced short session, with more than 500 bills filed between the House and Senate. In total, 112 bills moved through the Senate chamber and 113 bills moved through the House chamber. As with every session, not all proposals made it across the finish line — but many important issues were debated (some heavily debated 😆) and addressed.
I’ll share a detailed update in the coming weeks on the bills that advanced to the Governor’s desk.
