REMINDER - The Fayette County School Corporation's Summer Meal Program, providing free breakfasts and lunches for all children 18 years old and younger throughout the summer months, will begin next Monday, June 1st and will continue until July 31st.

IMPORTANT - A signed parent agreement must be completed and kept on file with permission and the exact name of who is able to pick up the meals. Students may not receive both Summer Food Service Program meals and CACFP meals (free government meals through local daycare). These forms will be available upon your first pick-up for parents or guardians to fill out.

To confirm that children live in the household and the adult is actually the parent or guardian of the child receiving the meals, we are also required to cross-check our Powerschool student database. If children are not current FCSC students, they may still receive food, but documentation such as a school ID card, report card, or medical card is required.

Meal handouts will be available every Monday and Friday at two convenient locations within the Corporation:

Everton Elementary School
Mondays & Fridays
11:00 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.

Frazee Elementary School
Mondays & Fridays
12:00 p.m. – 12:45 p.m.

Program Details
-Meals are free for all children ages 18 and under.
-Meals are packaged as take-home meals and should not be consumed onsite.
-Children must be present to receive meals.
-Distribution lines will form in front of each building.

Monday distributions include:
-4 breakfasts
-4 lunches

Friday distributions include:
-3 breakfasts
-3 lunches

The Summer Food Program is designed to ensure children continue receiving nutritious meals during the summer break when school is not in session. Fayette County School Corporation remains committed to supporting the health and well-being of all students and families in the community.

Great things are happening at the Fayette County School Corporation!

This company has been in Connersville many years. Im preemptively posting, this does not mean we are getting a data center. Data center parts have been made here for a while.

CONNERSVILLE, Ind. - Polargy LLC, a data center infrastructure company headquartered in Minden, Nevada, has acquired Connersville-based Forge Racks & Dunnage.

The company did not disclose financial terms of its acquisition but said the deal adds 160,000 square feet of space to its growing North American manufacturing program.

Forge manufactures data center skids, industrial racks and custom-fabricated assemblies for data center projects. It also produces reusable material handling systems for other the automotive, heavy truck, and agriculture industries, among others.

“Our customers need partners who can move quickly, simplify ex*****on, and help them meet their schedules. That is exactly what this expansion is built to support,” Polargy Executive Vice President of Sales Drew Unger said in a news release. “This acquisition strengthens our ability to support infrastructure programs from design and manufacturing through integration and installation.”

Polargy had more than 250 employees prior to the acquisition. The company did not immediately specify how many Forge employees would be joining its ranks.

The acquisition brings Polargy’s total manufacturing footprint to more than 550,000 square feet across facilities in Nevada; De Pere, Wisconsin; Columbus, Ohio; Springville, Utah; and now Connersville.

Polargy did not state whether the Connersville operation will continue to operate under the Forge brand or transition to Polargy.

Exciting news for downtown Connersville and the future of Johns Brothers General Store and the historic 408–414 Central Avenue building. We’re honored to be selected as a recipient of the Amex Shop Small Grants Program through American Express and Main Street America.

This national recognition is an investment in our continued efforts to restore and revitalize both Johns Brothers General Store and the full 408–414 Central Avenue Historic Building as a vibrant, community-centered destination in downtown Connersville. The grant will help support ongoing restoration efforts, improvements throughout the property, and future opportunities that strengthen both our business and our community.

We’re proud to represent Connersville as one of more than 500 small businesses across the country selected for this program and grateful to everyone who continues supporting our vision for preserving small-town history while building for the future.

Grants for small businesses are real, and they can pay off. A business owner in our region recently learned they were selected for one of 500 national $20,000 AMEX Shop Small Grants. It happened because they applied. It started because someone shared the opportunity.

Our partners at the East Central Indiana Small Business Development Center want to make sure entrepreneurs never miss the next one.

Sign up for personalized small business grant alerts through the ISBDC. The quick questionnaire helps them match you with opportunities that fit your business, including grants for specific industries or underserved communities that don't get broadly announced.
