It was an incredible evening at the Lincoln Reagan Dinner hosted by the Fayette County GOP!
Chairwoman Lisa Witt and the Executive Committee along with a few others put together a truly wonderful night filled with fellowship, inspiration, and a shared commitment to our values. Thank you to Evan Shafer for opening and closing the evening with prayer. Mayor Chad Frank for recognizing the elected officials, first responders and veterans in our presence. Sam Harvy for introducing the keynote speaker and to Don Bates Jr. for delivering a powerful keynote message on life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness and what it truly means to be a Republican.
Congratulations to Jaime Durham and Kay Riker-Peyton on receiving the Dock Haley Award, well deserved recognition for your dedication and service!
Vice Chairman Daniel Chambers gave a heartfelt and memorable speech honoring Sam Havey, presenting him with the Leota King Award beyond the call of duty.
Although Congressman Jefferson Shreve was unable to attend due to being in Washington, D.C., we appreciated his thoughtful message shared with everyone in attendance. We were also honored by the Secretary of State Diego Morales, who delivered meaningful remarks recognizing our veterans.
The food was delicious as always by Matt Huffman with Your Way Catering.
It was great to be among so many elected officials, incumbent leaders, and candidates as we head into the primary election on May 5th. The energy and commitment in the room made it clear our party is strong, united, and ready for what’s ahead.
