It was an incredible evening at the Lincoln Reagan Dinner hosted by the Fayette County GOP!
Chairwoman Lisa Witt and the Executive Committee along with a few others put together a truly wonderful night filled with fellowship, inspiration, and a shared commitment to our values. Thank you to Evan Shafer for opening and closing the evening with prayer. Mayor Chad Frank for recognizing the elected officials, first responders and veterans in our presence. Sam Harvy for introducing the keynote speaker and to Don Bates Jr. for delivering a powerful keynote message on life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness and what it truly means to be a Republican.
Congratulations to Jaime Durham and Kay Riker-Peyton on receiving the Dock Haley Award, well deserved recognition for your dedication and service!
Vice Chairman Daniel Chambers gave a heartfelt and memorable speech honoring Sam Havey, presenting him with the Leota King Award beyond the call of duty.
Although Congressman Jefferson Shreve was unable to attend due to being in Washington, D.C., we appreciated his thoughtful message shared with everyone in attendance. We were also honored by the Secretary of State Diego Morales, who delivered meaningful remarks recognizing our veterans.
The food was delicious as always by Matt Huffman with Your Way Catering.
It was great to be among so many elected officials, incumbent leaders, and candidates as we head into the primary election on May 5th. The energy and commitment in the room made it clear our party is strong, united, and ready for what’s ahead.

I want to serve as the next Fayette County Clerk because I care deeply about our community and believe this office plays a critical role in ensuring transparency, accuracy, and trust in our local government. The Clerk’s office is often the first place residents interact with county services, and I want every person to feel respected, informed, and confident in the process.
My goal is to bring a strong commitment to accountability and organization while improving efficiency and accessibility. Whether it’s managing records, overseeing elections, or assisting the public, I believe the office should operate with professionalism and clear communication at all times.
I am motivated to serve not just to maintain the duties of the office, but to strengthen them by making processes easier to understand, ensuring every vote is handled with integrity, and providing reliable service to every resident of Fayette County.
This role is about responsibility to the public, and I am ready to take that responsibility seriously, work hard, and serve with integrity every day.
