It's back...bigger and better than ever! More than 35 local restaurants are partnering with us to give back—donating 3% of their sales to support teacher mini-grants, student scholarships, and more across Catawba County Schools.

These are your 2nd grade Little Read Writing Contest winners for SSE. Students were tasked with writing a page letter welcoming someone new to their school! Congratulations to our winners!

Students also went on a field trip to Lenior Rhyne University to watch the play about the book “Our Solar System” by Stacy McAnulty for the Little Read event! Lenior Rhyne University will hold the play again tomorrow at 10am for free for parents, students and winners. Thank You to all who provided this opportunity for our 2nd graders!📚

Students in 4th grade have been working hard in STEM to build their own Putt Putt course! Students in other grade levels will play the course during STEM using Sphero Mini’s. Way to go Mrs. Southers in engaging students with this fun activity! ⛳️
