Happy Forensic Interviewer Week!

This week, we’re celebrating our incredible Forensic Interviewer, Sarah, and the compassionate work she does every single day.

Sarah provides children with a safe, supportive environment where they can share their experiences with dignity and respect. Through her specialized training, patience, and unwavering compassion, she helps children find their voice while supporting investigations that protect children and seek justice.

The work of a forensic interviewer is challenging, but Sarah approaches every interview with professionalism, empathy, and care. Her dedication makes a lasting difference in the lives of children and families throughout our community.

Please join us in welcoming Kelsey Kaylor, NP, to the Children’s Advocacy and Protection Center!

Kelsey is a pediatric nurse practitioner and proud Catawba County native. We’re excited to welcome her as our NP as she begins providing onsite forensic medical exams for the children we serve.

Kelsey shared, “I am excited about this new career opportunity to help serve the children in the county that I call home.”

Having forensic medical exams available onsite is an important part of our multidisciplinary response, helping ensure children receive compassionate, specialized care in a safe and child-focused environment.

We’re so grateful to have Kelsey on our team and can’t wait for the impact she’ll make for children and families across Catawba County.
