Neighbors Network is Catawba Valley 50+ Center for Active Living; a non-profit program established to give people both the support and confidence to live life to the fullest safely at home. Through this program, older adults gather to connect with the community, engage in health and educational programs, and support one another in

everyday activities. In addition to building social connections; Neighbors Network is a central contact for vetted and trusted resources for Home Healthcare, Home Maintenance, Automotive Care, and everyday Personal Care. Providers are vetted, proven and provide discounts or benefits exclusive to participants. Even better, Neighbors Network participants also gain access to social and learning opportunities that are custom-tailored to their interests; all designed to create a greater quality of life. Day trips, social gatherings, seminars and interest groups are all a part of the offerings. The staff at Neighbors Network takes a special interest in their clients; keeping check upon their well-being, reminding them of important appointments like doctor visits and providing transportation to satisfy needs. It is the perfect solution to create peace of mind for children with elder parents (especially if children live out of town and are not readily available to provide support) preferring to live in the comfort of their own home. The range of services are broad, trustworthy and can be customized to meet specific needs.
