Please take notice that the Town of Conquest Town Board will hold a public hearing on April 20, 2026, at 7 p. m. at the Conquest Town Hall located at 1289 Fuller Road in the Town of Conquest to consider the designation of four Critical Environmental Areas (CEAs) pursuant to 6 NYCRR Part 617.14.

Mud Pond Conservation Priority Area-A forested corridor extending from the headwaters north of Mud Pond southward into the Seneca River, supporting wetland and stream ecosystems.

Sterling Creek Conservation Priority Area-A forested buffer in the northeast corner of Conquest that protects the headwaters and watershed of Sterling Creek.

Seneca River Tributaries Conservation Priority Area-A forested buffer along two unnamed tributaries and a stretch of the Seneca River on the eastern edge of Conquest that stabilizes riparian habitat and promotes wildlife movement.
