We had a set of keys found outside of the Mountain View Co-Op turned in to the Sheriff's Office. Both keys are gold, one is square and one is round. There is a distinguishing characteristic for one of the keys that you can use to identify them. So if you are missing a set of keys, come see us and we'll reunite you with them.

The Sheriff’s Office was asked to bring out their seatbelt convincer for Farm Safety Day at the Conrad High School where Undersheriff Bender and Chaplain Bennett showed students from the 4th, 5th and 6th grades the importance of wearing their seatbelts whenever they get into a vehicle.

The seatbelt convincer has made appearances at National Night Out and is also used at summer driver education classes at Conrad High School.

Tuesday April 21st at 6:00pm, the City of Conrad is holding a City Council Meeting where the possibility of consolidating the Conrad Police Department and Pondera County Sheriff's Office will be discussed.

The Pondera County Sheriff's Office would like to encourage all Conrad residents to attend this meeting, whether for or against consolidation, and voice their opinions. This is a very important topic, and we hope we can have a positive discussion on Tuesday, no matter where your opinion lies on the issue.

We also want to encourage that everyone who chooses to participate remains respectful, as everyone's view is important. Thank you.
