Conroe ISD continues to closely monitor Tropical Storm Edouard and its potential impact on our area.

Out of an abundance of caution, all after-school activities and events are canceled for today, Tuesday, September 1.

We will continue monitoring weather conditions throughout the day and remain in communication with local authorities and emergency management officials.

Twas the day before Day 1 and all through the school, teachers were preparing and not thinking of the pool. To make the day better, some gifts were arranged, the raffle was ready and for some their day was wonderfully changed. Congratulations to all our teachers who won supplies to make their school year start off on a bright and positive note. We can’t wait to see you tomorrow panthers!

Two days of fun but one was definitely more spirited than the other. 📚🎓Yesterday our teachers participated in district wide learning where new ideas were exchanged and those lightbulb 💡 moments happened. We are looking forward to sharing all the learning with you!

Today was the Caney Creek feeder zone pep rally and there sure was a lot of spirit displayed. Moorhead brought the fun and the cheer as we are the defending champions and that spirit stick needed to stay right where it belonged. The results came in and… Moorhead got most spirited and won the bleacher challenge! 🎊🏆 We also have some singing divas on this campus as we got 2nd place in the grab the 🎤 challenge. The overall spirit award didn’t make its way to Moorhead this year but plans are being hatched to make sure it finds its way home again!

Thank you to everyone who came to pick up their schedules today. We are excited for our panthers to be back on campus!

📚📓Day 🥈 of teachers back at work brought lots of laughs and focusing on learning through the use of Kagan instructional strategies. We even had a little helper who was learning right along with us!
Today we focused on how to get everyone participating as well as having some fun through (out)playing! Enjoy seeing those laughs and activities that brought the fun 🤣
