This past week, the crew of Station 63-B successfully completed the Rescue Boat Operator Course taught by Triad Rescue International.
They received both classroom and hands on instruction designed to enhance their capabilities during flood and water rescue incidents.

• Understanding Various Types of Water and Watercraft
• Basic Motor Care and Maintenance
• Crew Positions and Duties
• Self-Rescue Procedures
• Boat Handling Skills and Drills
• Ladder Rescues
With our area prone to heavy rainfall, flash flooding, and hurricane impacts, maintaining proficiency in water rescue operations is critical. Training like this ensures our personnel are prepared to safely and effectively respond when our community needs us most.
