Energy Awareness Month: Save Water, Save Energy at Home

Did you know that saving water can also help save energy? Every gallon of hot water you use requires energy to heat it. This October, celebrate Energy Awareness Month with these simple indoor conservation tips:

✅ Take shorter showers. Aim for 5 minutes or less to reduce both water and energy use.

✅ Wash clothes in cold water whenever possible. It's an easy way to reduce energy consumption while keeping clothes clean.

✅ Install a water-efficient showerhead to reduce water use without sacrificing performance.

✅ Turn off the tap while brushing your teeth or shaving. Small daily habits can make a big difference over time.

✅ Skip pre-rinsing dishes. Scrape food scraps instead and let your dishwasher do the work.
