The National Weather Service is forecasting an increased risk of severe thunderstorms across Southeast Texas overnight into early Monday morning as a cold front moves through the region.
🌩️ What to Expect - Strong-to-severe thunderstorms are possible late tonight through early Monday. Damaging wind gusts, Large hail, and isolated tornadoes cannot be ruled out. Heavy rainfall and frequent lightning.
📍 Conroe and much of the northern Houston region are currently in a Slight Risk (Level 2 of 5) for severe weather.
✅ What You Can Do Now - Make sure you have multiple ways to receive weather warnings overnight. Charge your cell phones and devices. Secure outdoor furniture and loose items. Review your family’s severe weather plan. Be prepared to move to an interior room on the lowest floor if a warning is issued.
The City of Conroe will continue to monitor conditions and provide updates as needed.
